So it’s warm for late February here but still chilly (35 f this morning) and I felt like riding in as it’ll be the nicest day this week.
Well the bike didn’t want to cooperate. I got her up and running again 2 weeks ago after a major oil leak had her sidelined since October. She had been running well and I put about 5o0 miles on her since then.
We’ll today she decided that her front brake wanted to stick. It had been dragging a little while being pushed but it had been clearing up with a couple hard pushes on the mc. Today it refused to let up and I had to turn around about 2 miles from home.
Oh well, I’ll tear into the caliper this week. I’ve already ordered the parts I need to rebuild her.

check the bearings too. I need to re-do the front bearings on my bike badly.

Last spring I tore the front end apart and put in new fork seals and a new brake mc. The bearings were good then but I’ve been contemplating a larger scale front end project (fork swap and dual disk upgrade) I just didn’t want to do it just yet.
I’ll probably just rebuild the caliper, toss on some new pads and hope for the best.
